jfflb liability waiver

I understand Just For Fun Long Beach is an unincorporated community based social group wherein membership and/or attendance at any sponsored event or activity is a privilege and requires me to abide by the Code of Conduct set forth by the organization.

I have read and understand the Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it.

I further agree and acknowledge that I am over the age of 21 and understand alcohol will be consumed at events. I understand the consumption of alcohol carries health risks, is potentially hazardous and carries with it the potential for injury to myself, others and property loss. I agree to assume any and all risks associated with alcohol consumption and/or participating at any event of Just For Fun Long Beach I attend, including transportation to and from any event or activity. I further agree that in any circumstance I bring any guest(s) to any event, I am responsible for them and their behavior including insuring no one under the age of 21 is brought to an event where alcohol is being served.

In consideration for membership and/or admission to any Just For Fun Long Beach activity or event, I agree or anyone entitled to act on my behalf, agrees to waive liability of any kind, release from all claims, and discharge Just For Fun Long Beach, its officers, representatives, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, members and guests from all claims or liability of any kind arising out of attending, participating in or traveling to or from any Just For Fun Long Beach activity or event. Additionally:

  1. I further agree to assume all risks for attending or participating in any Just For Fun Long Beach activity or event.
  2. I agree not to pursue legal action of any kind or nature against Just For Fun Long Beach, its officers, representatives, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, members and guests for any of the claims or liability I have waived.
  3. I further indemnify and hold harmless Just For Fun Long Beach, its officers, representatives, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, members and guests from any claims made or liability assessed against Just For Fun Long Beach, its officers, representatives, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, members and guests as a result of my actions during any Just For Fun Long Beach event or activity even though that claim or liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of Just For Fun Long Beach, its officers, representatives, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, members and guests.

I further understand that this waiver is ongoing and is in force for all events and activities I attend in the future.
