jfflb code of conduct

Celebrating the rich diversity of the LGBT community of Long Beach, our members are committed to treating each other and our guests with respect and tolerance at all times. Behavior that is deemed offensive, demeaning, abusive or inappropriate to the occasion, event or to any individual will not be tolerated.

All members of Just For Fun Long Beach are encouraged to participate in all our events and to actively volunteer themselves for hosting or assisting at events.

Members are encouraged to bring guests. However, members are responsible for their guests and their actions at all times. Guests should be over the age of 21 for admission to events. Minors will only be allowed at specific events.

While we encourage our members to network and build relationships to further personal and professional goals, it is not appropriate to use events, member contact information or display areas to solicit business from members and guests for any commercial activity.

Due to the adult oriented nature of events where alcohol is available, children are not appropriate to these events.

Members and guests are encouraged to have a good time but asked to consume alcohol responsibly; including making arrangements for transportation home after an event.

A pattern of behavior by a member or guest that is deemed inconsistent with our Mission Statement and Objective and this Code of Conduct will result in the member or guest being asked not to attend further events.

[Members will be asked to acknowledge agreement with the Code of Conduct when signing up or registering with Just For Fun Long Beach, either online or in person for admission or attendance at our events.]
